Our club offers an exciting variety of activities and events. Members enjoy meeting new people, making friends, joining in social and recreational activities, learning more about the area, and getting involved in the community. Club members explore popular artistic and cultural activities such as watercolor painting workshops, local theater presentations and concerts. The events are usually followed by an optional meal at a local restaurant.
Meet the second Wednesday of each month at 9:30 am at members’ homes. The monthly book selection is chosen by the members and includes fiction in addition to one non-fiction book and one classic book each year.
Meet the second Wednesday of each month at 1:00 pm at members’ homes. The members choose books from all genres. Everyone is welcome.
Meet the third Wednesday of each month at 3:00 pm at Lansdowne Arms Pub, 9352 Dorchester St., Highlands Ranch. The group members have a lively book discussion over happy hour hors d’oeuvres and cocktails.
Meet the first and third Wednesday of each month from 10:00 am to 11:30 am at AMF Littleton Lanes, 2530 E. County Line Rd., Littleton. Teams are formed with two club members each. The group encourages lots of laughter, getting to know each other and no pressure.
Many day and night time bridge groups meet throughout the month. Both women’s and partner’s bridge groups enjoy playing. An annual marathon bridge luncheon is held.
Meet the fourth Friday of each month at 12:45 pm. Bunco is a fun and social dice game based entirely on luck. Players take turns rolling the dice while trying to accumulate points. A $5 fee is charged and prizes are awarded at the end of the game for the most Buncos, most winning hands and most losses.
Meet the fourth Friday of each month at 7:00 pm at members’ homes. Attendees bring an appetizer or dessert to share and a drink of choice. The hostess will either have several more-popular games available or ask those attending to bring some popular games. Spouses and guests are invited.
Meet the third Monday of each month at 12:45 pm at Festive Cup Coffee, 50 W. Springer Drive, Littleton. Hand and Foot is a North American game related to Canasta. The game is easy to learn and fun to play.
Club members enjoy visiting local tea rooms approximately every three months. The group members travel further afield during the summer months, but tend to stay closer to home during unpredictable weather.
Meet the third Tuesday of each month at 11:30 am. Club members enjoy lunch at a different restaurant around town and occasionally a guest speaker attends. In December, the group hosts a special holiday luncheon with approximately 120 club members in attendance.
Meet the second Monday and fourth Thursday of each month at 11:30 am at Sweet Tomatoes, 9445 Park Meadows Drive, Lone Tree. We have a private room available to us where we eat lunch and then play. Mah Jongg is a game of both skill and luck. The game utilizes racks to hold each player’s tiles, jokers and “Hands and Rules” score cards. The goal of the game is to be the first to mah jongg, by picking and discarding tiles, and matching one’s tiles to a specific hand from the annual scorecard published by the national Mah Jongg League. This is a fun game and the Mah Jongg chairs are available to teach any members interested in learning how to play.
Club members have a monthly gathering which includes a brunch, lunch or dinner at one of the member’s homes. Additional outings usually occur each month. Some members have formed close friendships and traveled together both in the US and outside of the country.
Meet the third Wednesday of each month at 10:00 am. Members experience the pleasure of creating easy to make beautiful handmade cards which include all occasion and current holiday cards. In addition, the group also makes other paper crafts items such as boxes and gift type items. The chairperson provides basic information and all supplies and equipment to make 3 cards. A modest fee is charged.
Meet the first Thursday and third Friday of each month, weather permitting. The group members enjoy an 8-12 mile ride trail ride at 8-10 MPH with a stop for refreshments and conversation. The ride is out and back so riders go as far as they feel comfortable. This is a great way to get exercise and meet newcomers.
Meet the third Thursday. The group members venture out on interesting tours around Denver and neighboring communities.
Meet the fourth Monday of each month at 12:45 pm at Festive Cup Coffee, 50 W. Springer Drive, Highlands Ranch. Rummikub is a game played with tiles and is similar to “Rummy.”
Meet the third Saturday of each month from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Attendees bring an appetizer or dessert to share and a drink of choice. This event is an opportunity to socialize with other members, spouses and guests in an informal, relaxed setting. It is usually hosted by a club member who enjoys entertaining or whose house can accommodate a group.
Meet the second Thursday of each month at Panera Bread, 9579 South University Boulevard, Highlands Ranch. We eat lunch at 11:30 and play Scrabble at 12:15. This game is unique because we play with 9 tiles instead of 7 tiles. A cheat sheet is available and the Scrabble dictionary is open book. The second game is played using the original rules.
Meet the first Monday of each month at 1:00 pm. The group members use their sewing skills to make items that are given to various non-profit organizations serving at-risk populations. They have supported the community by providing needed help to children and women with sewing projects that are directed to the needs of the organizations they are working with. Group members have donated items to Warren Village, Lakewood Head Start, Children’s Hospital, the Anchor Center, Swedish Hospital and several nursing homes. New volunteer opportunities for the group are always welcome.

Meet the second Tuesday of each month at 9:00 am, weather permitting. Group members enjoy healthy exercise and exploring local areas of interest.
